On Saturday October 7, the Society of Francophone Authors and Artists (SAAF) held its Medal Ceremony at the Château de Montvillargenne, built for the Rothschilds. The artist was awarded a Gold Medal by the President herself, Aldina Mateus. The ceremony was followed by a cocktail reception in the Salon Marquise de Pompadour, which opened onto the park terraces, and closed with a Gala dinner in the Salon Prince de Condé.
