Founded in 1844 by Baron Taylor (1789 – 1879), recognized as a public utility in 1881, the Association of Artists, now called the Taylor Foundation, is one of the most important artistic institutions in the capital. Located in the Saint-Georges district of Paris in the 9th arrondissement, the Foundation, through its vocation to support artistic creation and the development of knowledge of the arts, highlights contemporary artists through the awarding of prizes and the organisation of exhibitions on its premises.
