On Saturday, April 30 there took place the opening of the Spring Salon of the Academic Society of Arts-Sciences-Lettres.
Two paintings by Florence Remy were selected to be presented to the public in the Thuillier gallery located in the historic district of the Marais, a stone's throw from the Picasso Museum. Xavier de Sèze, whose portrait appeared in the selection, was present at the opening.
The Academic Society of Arts-Sciences-Lettres, founded in 1915, aims to recognise and promote women and men who, through their talent and work, contribute to the influence of culture in the artistic, literary and scientific fields.
Florence Remy was distinguished by a Gold Medal in 2021 for the quality of her work, awarded at the Intercontinental Hotel near the Opera in Paris.
